oily hair

firstly, this is not a post about how to cure oily hair. but about putting oil in your hair.
yes.
that is what i meant to say.
i've been trying to grow my hair out, and a big part of growing it out is just keeping it nice and healthy :)) i don't know if you've already heard about this, and i don't care ( i needed something to blog about...) but you know those deep oil treatments you can get for your hair to help it out after burning multiple times? ignore those, and just use olive oil.
this helps improve the elasticity of your hair, it's INSANELY soft, and shiny, and healthy ^_^ i do it every two-ish weeks.

depending on how much hair you have, pour enough olive oil in a cup to massage into your scalp, and into your hair. warm up the olive oil in a microwave for a little bit (just enough that it's warm, not hot) have a hair tie, towel, and sink nearby.
start massaging the oil into your scalp, i do this with a majority of the oil in the cup, and then i move on to the rest of my hair. then i put my hair up (the olive oil's still in) and, after washing my hands, i use the towel to rub off any of the oil on my neck or forehead. And then i go do school, or clean, or eat, or all three, and after it's been in there for a while, i take a shower. and wash my hair at least three times. don't wanna leave any oil in my hair, or it'll look oily (who would've guessed?)
this leaves you running your fingers through your hair all. day. there's quite a few videos you can find on youtube about this, but i like this one because the person in it is irish :))
